Askables is a new website that allows anyone, freelance writers or hobbyists looking to make money online, to earn money at home by creating content for the website. Freelance writers can get paid to write articles and to post answers to questions on Askables.
The site allows members to post questions that are answered by other members. Members can also make money writing by submitting reprint articles and original articles for publication on Askables.
Get Paid to Write
The site pays in either a Google AdSense revenue share or by sending the amount of the AdSense revenue share directly to the writer through PayPal. Writers get paid to write articles that are submitted each month in a number of different ways, including some up-front cash payments. Reprinted articles are not eligible for the up-front cash payment.
Make Money Writing With Google AdSense Revenue Share
The compensation program at Askables relies on a point system to determine the rate of pay for writers to earn money at home. Writers get paid to write articles, but they also earn points for submitting articles and for answering questions.
Each article on the site earns a base residual pay of 50 percent of the Google AdSense revenue that the article earns on the site. As the writer's points increase, they earn money at home with a higher share of the Google AdSense revenue for all of their articles.
After earning more points for answering questions and submitting articles, members make money writing at different levels. With more points, the share of revenue increases to 60 percent, then to 70 percent and finally to a maximum of 80 percent. Submitting an original article earns the writer 60 points. Submitting a reprint article, that has appeared elsewhere online, the writer earns five points.
Answering questions that are posted on the site earns the writer five points for each answer. If the writer's answer is selected as the best answer, an extra 10 points are awarded. While the writer won't earn money at home by writing the answers, the point level increases that are achieved by answering questions mean a higher point level that will increase their Google Adsense share.
To reach the 60 percent share level, 1,000 points are needed. To reach the 70 percent Google AdSense share level, the writer must have 5,000 points. The 80 percent Google AdSense share level requires 25,000 points.
To sign up to get the Google AdSense revenue share, writers submit their AdSense account numbers to Askables to allow the revenue share to be paid directly by Google. If the writer doesn't have an AdSense account or doesn't want to get paid through their AdSense account, they can choose the PayPal option instead.
Get Paid to Write Articles With Up-Front Payments
Writers make money writing in other ways as well. Members who have contributed at least 10 original articles per month and who have 5,000 points is paid $5 for each original article as well as the Google Adense revenue share. Writers who contribute at least 25 original articles and who have 25,000 points or more for the month will be paid $10 per original article plus their 80 percent Google AdSense revenue share.
Askables is a new site to earn money at home, and there are expected to be changes as the site grows and becomes established. The up-front cash payments were recently suspended temporarily, but writers can still earn money at home with the Google AdSense revenue share. Because there are more points awarded for original articles and there are up-front payments for those articles, the site has been inundated with reprints that are submitted as originals. The site is working to prevent this from happening and will reintroduce the up-front payments when the problem has been solved.
