How to Publish a Book With Red Rose Publishing
Red Rose accepts only digital submissions in a very specific form. Prospective romance writers are urged to read the submission guidelines carefully. Submissions that don't follow the guidelines are rejected and can not be submitted to the publisher again.
Red Rose Publishing does not accept query letters. Writers instead submit a synopsis as well as a full manuscript. While Red Rose Publishing prefers to have single submissions, they do allow simultaneous submissions as long as this status is disclosed.
There is no advance payment given by this online publisher. Royalties on the first 300 sales of a romance book is 40 percent of the purchase price. Purchases 301 to 500 of a book are paid at a rate of 45 percent. After 500 copies are sold, the writer is paid 50 percent of the price. Print books are negotiated individually.
Writers can expect a response to their submission in about eight to 12 weeks. After eight weeks, writers are allowed to send no more than one email to inquire about their submission.
